Bradford were on top for most of the game but didn't make their possession count. It's a shame they lost because they would have added more to the Championship than hoofball Millwall.

They are complete nutters though and I wonder how they'll react going to some bigger grounds again so travelling in good numbers. You only have to see the pitch invasion they've just done now and it's not the first time they've misbehaved at Wembley in recent years.

Will be harder to police than the SHA game I reckon for WMP.

Agree Bradford played the better football, and if the guy at the end had pulled it back to any of four players along the six yard line instead of going for glory from a tight angle and smashing it into the side netting they maybe could have taken it to extra time.

Hate Millwall - as do many many Villa fans.  Anyone who went there in the 70's knows the score on this one.

Lewisham Council should have moved them to the middle of nowhere when they had the chance.

Anyone who was at the cup game down there a few years back will know what a bunch of arseholes they are. I know you can't paint them all with the same brush but they seem to have been let off lightly over the years.

They'll behave in much the same way they've behaved whenever they've been in this division over the years. There might be a few problems at one of two of their games but most will pass off perfectly peacefully.

They'll target Villa as the biggest club in the division, just as they acted like twats last time we played them.

I doubt there will be any problem at Villa Park, but the game at their place will be a pain in the arse. You shouldn't have to be constantly looking over your shoulder when you go to watch a football match.

Lewisham Council should have got rid of them when they had the chance.

Dislike of Millwall heightened by their kit this season giving them a stripey filth look.

Attendance was 53,320. A bit low considering both sets of supporters claimed to have sold their allocation. On R5Live and Talk Shite this morning they were estimating the gate would be around 70K.

Indeed. They only got relegated two seasons ago and have spent more time in the second tier than any other division in the last 30 plus years so it's hardly a novelty for them.

I detect a Danny Dyer-esque 'pwopa nawty' occasion down Old Kent Road way when we visit.

Met said to me after the game in the Cup that their lot had targeted us, as they wanted to have a pop at a bug club. There was trouble at London Bridge because we decided to travel down there to have a pop back.

If you went, you wouldn't have seen any bother.

They have a shite away following and prefer to spend their Saturdays in London looking for Tottenham, West Ham and who has travelled down, so I doubt we will see much at Villa Park beyond a significant police presence and swathes of empty seats in the away end.
