Huddersfield have got those bloody plastic happy clappy things now. They're becoming all invasive. Hope they don't turn up at Villa Park

Trying to replicate our 'achievement' of last season, win the first away league game of the season, and then not win any of the next 18 and end up relegated.

HT 0-0. Huddersfield the better team so far

FT 0-0. Sheffield got the draw they were playing for, and for all Huddersfield's possession they lacked a cutting edge

0-0 away is always a bit dangerous though isn't it?  1-1 will be enough for Huddersfield in the return now.

I don't think away goals come into it in the play offs.

You're right - extra time and penalties if scores are level at FT regardless of away goals

I wonder what sort of reception awaits Brad, Rudy and the other one should they appear at  VP next season.

Guzan will be off. Just as well as I think we would boo him and I don't think he deserves that.

Rudy wasn't great but always gave the impression of trying his best, and did at least score the winner against Small Heath. I expect he will get a good reception.

Not sure if Traore will stay at Boro, but he gave the impression of jumping ship pretty quickly, albeit a number of Villa managers didn't give him much of a chance. He'll get booed if he plays against us.

Downing will, quite rightly, get slaughtered by our crowd. Hopefully literally, in the centre circle.

Karim el-Ahmadi's Feyenoord win the Dutch League.

Van Bronckhorst must be a contender for the Arsenal job if Wenger steps down.

I'll piss myself laughing if everything is sorted in the PL before the last game and Sky are left with nothing 'exciting' to show.

Top 4 trophy showdown is guaranteed to go to the last day now with Arsenal winning I think.

All depends on the midweek games. Although you'd fancy it will go to the last day as Arsenal are at home to Sunderland on Tuesday.

Mayhem in Rotterdam. Watching Feyenoord rises from the ashes after finishing 10th just a few seasons ago reminds me what could have been at Villa if we'd made better decisions.

I was thinking that.  Leaving aside that presumably they didn't know the make up of the playoffs when the decision was made, who in their right mind schedules matches at 6.30pm on a Sunday evening?

There is a bloke at the back for Tranmere who looks like a fan that has won a competition to play for their team.
