"Debut", even. Ireland vs Iceland is, sort of, a derby though. Only one letter away from each other.

Watching France v Spain, Morata looks like a fish out of water in this Spanish team.  They do need a decent striker to finish off their build up play.

France had a goal ruled out offside after video evidence was consulted. A first in France.

Spain just got a penalty and it's 0-1 to them. France should be 2-1 up but are not being clinical.

Interesting. Spain scored again, the linesman flagged for offside, the ref took advice from the video ref and, correctly, awarded the goal as the video showed it was inside. It was a bit like watching the egg-chasing where they do it all the time. The players haven't got in the ref's face after each video decision ,either which is good.

This game has got me wondering how many full Spanish and French Internationals have played for us, not many at all, especially the Spanyards.

I can only think of Six, Ginola, N'zogbia and Pires. No "Spanyards".

You forget Dider Six ;)  We don't have many internationals players in big European or South American nations like Italy, Portugal, Spain, Germany outside UK and Ireland. We never have anyone from Brazil yet :(
