Our licence fees are paying for the incisive analysis of Ruud Gullitt, predicting the first game of an FA Cup Quarter Final going to extra time, and Phil Neville, who thinks it will go to penalties tonight.

I'm as happy as anyone to mock silly pundits, but I'm afraid they were hypothetically right.

Rules changed last year and from the quarter final this year there are no replays, just extra time and penalties.

How Rojo, Valencia and Pogba weren't booked beggars belief.  Fat Phil Staffordshire Red Dowd's legacy is in safe hands

I can't be caring about that anymore, it's been so long it's almost an irrelevant statistic now.

Also, in fairness to Neville, he qualified his statement as meaning that Manure's only chance of winning the game was if it went to penalties.

Costa really is a despicable excuse for a human being

I love watching him play.

Me too.  It's rarely dull with him on the field even when it is quite dull with the rest of them.  And, even though he sometimes appears to cheat on occasion it hardly lowers him to the level of 'despicable excuse for a human being'. He's a footballer nothing more.

I love watching him play.

Normally I find him annoying but because it was against Mourinho's Man Utd it was a welcome distraction.
