It's why you love, or hate, football. Team has one shot on target and boom, QF of the FA Cup.

I was listening to the game in the car and there was a period in the first half when I literally never heard his name mentioned for half an hour.

I could be wrong but isn't this only the 2nd time a non league side has won away against a top flight side? Not including the very early days of the game. I wonder who the other club are with that embarrassment in their history.

Westwood on the wrong end of the biggest cup shock ever. His CV really stinks.

It's a shock, but the biggest ever?

I think Norwich lost at home to Luton recently. SHA must be the only team to do it twice while being in the top two divisions lest we forget Kiddy as well.

Forgot all about the Norwich game.

As for biggest shock, it will be up there but for me Altrincham is bigger, purely because they were semi-professionals winning away to a top flight side. Luton and Lincoln will both have been full time pros.

I think in 1913-14 - the last non-league team to be in the last 8 of the competition were QPR.

Back then though I assume QPR would have been the equivalent of a 3rd tier side as there were only 2 league divisions. It's why I discounted Spurs back in the day, especially as they cheated against us.

Speaking of cheats, South Shields already 2-0 up against John's lot Newport Pagnell.

Fat boy misses a "woeful" penalty for Forest against an injured goalkeeper.

Currently looks like 3 of the FA Vase semi-finalists will be South Shields (4-0), Cleethorpes (3-0) and Coleshill (2-0).
