In a word a manager that knows what he is doing.

Agreed. The way Benitez used all his managerial experience to Jedi mind trick the referee into not giving the winning goal scorer a second yellow card, before he popped the winner in, for a late tackle on the keeper was fucking brilliant.

At least we have the small consolation that even if the worst happened and we went down again, we still wouldn't have to play Coventry next season.

I'm already looking forward to home and away against Bristol Rovers

Staggering when you think the likes of lowton, Westwood are playing against Chelsea today. Steven Davis still a key in the Southampton team. Cahill went on to massive things at Chelsea and England. Even Wayne routledge is still in the premier league.

just goes to show how badly our club has been run dreadful

Burnley are playing really well. (I've not noticed Westwood yet) I can squint and try and pretend it's us, but the obvious amount of effort means it's not very realistic.

Burnley will probably lose this game in the end because of Chelsea's superior quality
but at least they are having a go, more than that in fact playing some decent stuff and creating chances and problems for Chelsea
they certainly arnt being outclassed at the moment

Weatwoods hitting long range forward early passes and running into space in advanced positions.

Whatever he does on a football pitch, as long as it's not for us, I am grateful.

Note to Bruce look how attacking the Chelsea wing backs are.

Is Westwood on corner duty perchance?

Lowton looks better than Hutton, and he's up against Chelsea not Brentford, Forest, Ipswich etc.,

Our issue was the personnel.   With three centre halves it should theoretically give the security to play more attack minded players at full/wing back.  It had to be Amavi and Bacuna.

Burnley look very fit, they chase and really press the opposition. Sean Dyche would be a good choice if Bruce continues on a downward spiral....
