Just seen a replay of Clark's own goal....rather comical.

He's improved massively though since he's left us...

Fuck me, Cissokho scored on his debut for Olympiakos to help them to a 2-0 victory. Even more stunning is that with him in defence the opponents didn't score.

Ah yes that mysterious, elusive entity called coaching seems to work at other clubs.

Rumours that Benitez has quit Newcastle...

This suggests he may quit at the end of the season - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/02/02/rafa-benitez-could-quit-newcastle-mike-ashley-fails-keep-promises/

Not a surprise given the owners. I thought he may go once a PL club starts sniffing as a manager like him would be in demand once a PL team starts doing  poorly and get a bit jittery with their manager. Either way, be great if he did leave that lot.

I endorse everything that's been said about Huddersfield's performance against the League leaders and would just like to add this observation;

72 minutes gone and they're leading 3-1.

A Brighton player is on the ball, far touchline, and moves a few yards into the Huddersfield half.

Five, yes five Huddersfield players swarm around him denying the time and space to go forward or back.
It was like a f**kin' mugging and, no surprises, the attack goes nowhere.

Basic hard work, pressing and commitment would be a great starting point for the Villa squad, starting Saturday with any luck.

A mate of mine who was there last night says it was the best performance he's seen in 40 years watching them.

Yup, I think they've got somebody special in Wagner. Given the resources he performing miracles at Hudders. If they don't go up this season he's going to be in high demand for Premiership clubs looking for a new manager.

I watched some of it and it was quite clear that our lot were fit enough to actually press the opposition we would be an awful lot higher up this division.

Just watched the Wigan Sheff Wednesday game and it was godam awful, how we cannot walk over teams like these is a measure of where we are. I am thinking that if Bruce doesn't get us winning games soon the pressure will become unbearable.

Absolutely

If you havent got the players to play exactly how you want then get them well drilled and fit

We can but hope
