Just over 24 hours to go until Man United V Wigan on BBC1. The magic of the cup. Jonathan Treble Chins and Danny Murphy, cutaways to Bobby Charlton and Whiskey Nose, thousands of tourist fans filming on their iphones as The Theatre Of Commerialism's flat atmosphere is heightened only by a few hundred away fans, and a 90 minute turkey shoot to savour

Marvellous, can't wait.

Why have the BBC picked this certain home win (boring) for Yanited? Wouldn't Lincoln vs Brighton 3.00pm today (not televised) be a more interesting/exciting choice??

Viewing figures.

Yes, you're probably right; the viewing figures in London will be up.

It's pathetic. If they must pick the best-supported clubs, rather than more interesting ties, then they should at least be banned from peddling clichés during the games.

If you've chosen to show Man United vs Wigan, you don't get to talk about the "Magic of the Cup".

Although, probably nobody should use that phrase as it marks you out as a tedious buffoon.

Of course Liverpool defeat means they are stuck at 7 wins just like us. Next season we make that 8.

Norwich 2-0 in front. Reading 1-0 up. Pity today's game against Bristol City was re-arranged with their FA Cup involvement. A lot of catching up to do...

What an inspired move it was to sack Rowett and replace him with Zola.

Are Wycombe really winning 2-0 at Spurs at HT?

That Spuds line up should be good enough to batter Wycombe.

It always feels inevitable that we go into these games and will just have no chance of winning. Yet Wycombe are really going at Spurs, Wolves won. I know I should be used to it and not get fucked off by it but it's hard not to be at times. Throw in all the games in recent years that we've been done in by lower league teams. Frustrating man.
