I don't understand posts like the above. We're light years away from Man United? Where you've been since 1993?
Probably not born  and  followed by hospital for birth, home , nursery, school and FIFA XX on play station since then!

KEA playing for Morocco

Apparently he's been one of the best players in the Eredivisie this season.

Someone on the radio was saying that we didn't know how to play him and didn't get the best out of him.

One of many.

Eh, I'm not necessarily sure being one of the best players in the Eredivisie says much about suitability for English football. That being said, he started out like a house on fire for us, but I think he ended up being caught in the problem we had with having far too many midfielders who did the same things - hardworking and tidy on the ball, but offered nothing going forward and too lightweight.

If Bristol City win in the FA Cup replay v Fleetwood tonight our home game on Saturday 28/01/17 will be postponed

and if Newcastle progress through the next round or so the Monday night game on 20/02/17 maybe moved also

Newcastle have to beat Small Heath and Oxford in the round after for our game to be moved, though Sky had already assured that it would be played at a time which is totally inconvenient to Villa fans, as usual, in any case.

Bristol City are 1 up so at this point it looks like we have a Saturday off the week after next.

At least any new signings that we are supposedly making don't need to be rushed in to play this game then!

The referee at Lincoln should stop the game so that centre forward Rhead can have his head shaved. It's the worst combover I've seen since 1975. You're only fooling yourself son.

Ipswich look absolutely shite, about as much goal threat as us. McCarthy and bruce are very much from the same mould though so its to be expected.

A pulsating game. Watching that and comparing it to last night....we're light years away from that standard. There was a day in December 2009 when we won 1-0 at Old Trafford!

I had €100 on the win at 7/1 that day. Biggest bet I'd ever done before or since .
