Not like Sky to do hyperbole.  'The only thing that people around the country are talking about is Olivier Girouds goal.'
Here in France a couple of us are talking about the lady weather presenter on France 2 who seems to be wearing a nightie while giving her forecast.

Twat on radio said damp squid

Edit: It was Martin Keown

Ha, I heard that. Later he described Arsenal as being better 'in every compartment' and complained that he had to work on two consecutive days. It probably makes his brain hurt, having to say words.

I wish our players could hit and hope like that because for hit and hope that was incredibly accurate how it found the net.
Giroud admitted in his interview that he was just trying to get to the ball.

It was still immensely impressive that he even considered it and acrobatic to execute. It wasn't hit and hope.

Traore is looking really good in spurts and really bad in more spurts.

So same as always. The question is when it is bad does he fight to win the ball back? And when it is good is able to turn it into great and create or score goals?

Well that was a ming numbing half of  no football. However Adama has made a couple of passes to his team mates.

Probably. If he could add, crossing, tracking back, correct decision making etc to his game he could go all the way. It might be easier to say, take away his pace and you haven't even got anything like a footballer.

For me he isn't much better than a young Gabby. And before he threw it all away developed the ability to play wide and through the centre. Gabby never progressed much after 24-25 for any number of we'll documented reasons so Adama still has time.

Impressive what pulis is doing at the olbiyun, even though I hate to say it.

He, like Allardyce has a formula that they stick to. His football might be eye bleeding but it guarantees survival for whoever he manages and over time he creates a very resolute squad that is capable on their day of beating almost anyone. Like MON there is a definite ceiling and reassuringly for owners a defined floor. Pulis is an antagonist and over time he just wears out his welcome and moves on.
