In the sense that it's played on a football pitch and has 11 players in each side

I reckon deBruynne could get into our team.
Fair play to City and Gorrjola (trying to impersonate BT's Spanish  expert) for turning over Barca tonight especially after going a goal down.

22K for them is not staying away. That's their best gate.

Seems like they've been in or around 23k all year. Isn't their capacity a little over 26?

Yes it is, 4,000 empty seats from a team that used to turn up to VP shouting 'you cor fill ya ground!'

Bit off topic but how the fuck can Ian Dowie be a commentator? He can't string a sentence together in any way, shape or form.

On Ian Dowie:

Footballer and manager Iain Dowie was rejected by Southampton Football Club as a 16-year old before going on to study at the University of Hertfordshire for a Masters in Engineering. After graduating he took up employment with British Aerospace while continuing with football at non-league level before being spotted by Luton Town Football Club and giving up the day job.

Inarticulate yes, but perhaps just one step away from being a rocket scientist.

Watching media darlings Tottenham lose to Leverkusen saves on the heating bill.

If they lose away to Monaco in the next round of matches then they're in trouble.

Watching this Southampton game is reminiscent of being at a rave back in the late 80's. I'm trippin' man
