I got home from work at 5.30 in brilliant sunshine, dozed off on the settee and when I woke up at 6.20 thought I'd been asleep for hours it was so dark.

I was working at the Temple of Doom again this afternoon, in the comms room with no windows. When I walked out at 5 o'clock I was greeted by a skyline that suggested Armageddon, fitting for the location, and by the time I'd reached the van the downpour started. I think the whole of Birmingham decided to go for a drive through it, and it took over an hour to get back to Castle Bromwich.

It's too early to judge. Was our draw with Huddersfield incredible? I'd say no, but the results so far would say so.

If we continue to play like we did on Sunday, we'll be right up there.

Almost 32 degrees here in London.  I checked and it's 18 back in Ireland.  We were in Hyde Park today, I thought I would have to carry Mrs S back in a bucket.

Depressing. Imagine winning 2 on the bounce let alone 5

Newcastle tediously hanging onto a 5 nil lead for dear life currently.

Well Newcastle have  an experienced, respected manager. We have a beginner. Newcastle will piss the division.

Tammy Abraham was a great pick up for them, wouldn't shock me if Bristol make the play offs tbh.

That Newcastle game in a couple of weeks should be fun. We need to win a couple before then and go into that with a bit of confidence as they could easily be going into it having won 6 on the trot.
