What was that shit that Allardyce came out with about how he can't tell Rooney where to play?
What a load of utter wank.

That might work if he was anywhere near as good as Allardyce thinks he is.....and he's not, by a long way.  Messi, Ronaldo and others close to their abilities play for the team, not themselves.  Might as well not bother with a manager and let Rooney pick the team and decide tactics.

I'm sure Rooney thinks he's like Pirlo.

He's actually holding England back by not retiring. I get the impression that the other England players feel the same.

Such is his standing he will probably take over from Allardyce.

I'd half-expected the resident whinging England fans to write Allardyce off after his first defeat, but must say I didn't think you'd be doing it after he'd won his first game!

It must be tough being right all the time :)

One game in and you can already see he brings nothing different from Hodsgson. A stumble through the qualifiers, followed by the inevitable humbling at the hands of a well organised defence in Russia awaits mighty Sam. Great times.

They were at Kiddie when the Under 19's played at the weekend. What a fuckin' row.

I picked up legionnaires disease at university, probably the same odds

Just watched the highlights. That was a mental game. A few great strikes, as well as terrible defending.

I am slightly disturbed that you appear to have gained access to my daughters bedroom and taken a picture of her Dolls House.

I picked up a few legionnaires at universtity. I just class it as a period of my life where I was questioning my sexuality.
