Should have been a straight red for a deliberate stamp by Skrtel

Alli has massively improved the midfield.

I'd be livid with Skertel if I were Slovakian, we were woeful against 11 and didn't look like scoring and now they are desperately holding on.

Failing to prise open a really mediocre side like Slovakia when they only have ten men doesn't bode well if/when England qualify.

When Sam plays for 0-0 he gets 0-0 regardless of how many men the other team has.

We showed at the Euros how we struggle to break down a half decent well organised defensive side, genius of Sam to think the same players and system would be any different a couple of months later.

It would have been nice to see something different with a new manager. Same failings, same one-paced turgid football and why Rooney in midfield?
