Here at the Norman Green Sports Stadium (aka Tudor Grange) it's 0-0 in the MRL division 3 clash between AFC Solihull and Moors Academy.
And that's how it finished.
EDIT: No it didn't. Moors won 1-0 with a goal cunningly scored while I was getting my coat.
Just started watching the C5 highlights programme. First game up Blues v Wolves - and the first thing you notice is the oceans of empty seats in the home areas. For a local derby. Obviously all on the weekend shift at the Austin.
Interesting to hear on BBC sport this morning that Manure vs Southampton was the first Premier League game played on a Friday.
Well apart from ours last year obviously - cocksockets
BBC indulging in a Neymar wankathon. "You couldn't write this script because if you had no one would have believed you." Really? No one could ave predicted that the 5th penalty taker would score the winning penalty?
You could see it coming, but it's still a good story and to be honest I'm glad he got his redemption. And I usually want Brazil to lose all their matches.
Got a couple of freebies for Cheltenham v Doncaster yesterday so had a chance to see Easah Suliman playing at right back.
He's clearly got some pace but he had a very poor game (as did most of the home side). Kept being caught out of position and looked lacking, even at League 2 level.
Gary Johnson took him off not long into the second half and said afterwards he made the subs as certain players "were offering nothing".
Doncaster looked way better to be fair, different class.
Barcelona looked an OK side yesterday.

Only 18000 there yesterday, 2300 wolves
Had they rolled out an extra money spinning AAA* plus category for the game? That's piss poor for a 3pm kick off.

Saw a bit of that, whoever the commentator was obviously had a list of tired old cliches he had to trot out and wasn't in the stadium. Any idea who it was, he was terrible.

one thing for sure, the noses will put a positive spin on it,
something like , yeah there was more at the sty than at vp today, or the police wouldn't allow any more tickets for us as were so uckin ard.
btw
Well done the Wolves
So less than 16,000 Noses bothered to turn up for a big Saturday 3pm kick off derby match against Wolves. Everything about that club epitomises small time.
