First goal a bad back pass then blocked by keeper rebounds out hits defender and falls into Mata's path. Second goal a scuffed shot hit into ground that is going well wide but goes straight onto Rooney's head. Luck like that and they will walk the league.

Man Utd have moved right back near the top of my most despised list this season after a couple of years of preferring them to Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City. Still hate Chelsea most but fucking hate Mourinho and Mata's dive a couple of minutes ago when the Bournemouth player's leg was a couple of feet from him will epitomise what the cheating bastards will be like this season.

The fact that his blatant cheating was not roundly condemned by the commentary team is further reason to be pissed off. It's one thing to go down easily when there's minimal contact, quite another to throw yourself on the floor when contact is nowhere near, in a (successful) effort to con a free kick.

I always think Mourinho really goes for it in the 'winnable' games and just tries to make sure he gets something out of the tougher games by nicking it by the odd goal or even getting a draw.

I have just read that Leicester's defeat yesterday was the first time the reigning champions have lost on the first day since Arsenal beat Manure in 1989. Which reminded me of two things. 'New owner' Michael Knighton with his ball juggling in front of the fans at The Theatre Of Twats and myself and at lot of other Villa fans travelling to the Forest game and not being able to get in.

Presumably you mean Arsenal were reigning Champions and lost to Man U?

We also lost our first game as Champions and ended the season as Champions of Europe so there's hope yet for Leicester!

I just thought the players had plungers on top of their heads. Either way, it's not a good look.

Liverpool very ordinary, saved by a great free kick. It'll be interesting to see how the fans treat Klopp if he doesn't do too well this year.

Good to have Gary Neville back, ripping into Moreno with great venom, though missing the stupid hairstyle.
