He's a good player and we saw him play well for us too. However just because he has gone to a better club doesn't mean they won't see much of what we saw. What will help is having better players and coaching and atmosphere. Because last season he didn't have any of those and everyones game suffered.

In other news, just seen that Eddie Howe has said that new signings Jordan Ibe and Lewis Carroll or whatever will 'enhance our [Bournemouth's] identity.' Yuck.

I read an interview with Howe in yesterday's guardian and he comes across really well.  I like the fact that he's got an obsessive work ethic "getting in at 0630 and leaving after dark".  One of the main reasons I value this characteristic is because it is the exact opposite of my attitude towards work.

Haha. No.

Every time one of this teams loses there is some kind of incident with him. Be it moaning or being overly aggressive. An example was when we beat them 1-0 at Villa Park in 2014. He was an utter disgrace. And not for the first time.

His lack of respect towards Wenger is borderline bullying, as was his time at Real when he poked Barcelona's manager in the eye. Appalling.

He is a character, no doubt about that. Just someone I'm not a big fan of. I'm waiting for him to explode this season.
