Matt Smith....played Dr Who

Brummie, played for Redditch and Solihull amongst other non league teams before Oldham took a punt on him.
Once scored nine goals in three games when on loan to Littleton in the Midland League.

That's the footballer not the actor by the way.

It made me think that I hope we've really been practising set pieces - for and against. Plus we need to be able to get in behind and wide

Could see a key role for green off the bench

The actor was a footballer as it happens. He was in the Forest youth team with Jermaine Jenas before injuries did him.

I looked at their team sheet before kick off and wondered what the fuss was all about.  Average on paper and below average on the pitch.  I realize we've got a bit to do but if they're supposed to be setting the standard in this league, I fancy our chances.

In the end Newcastle will be up there. As will we. It's about finishing strong and we might not start of as well as we might hope but it will build over the season. Same I imagine for Newcastle

Fair play to plucky minnows Rangers getting their first ever top-flight point. Not bad for a club that was only founded in 2012.

It's great to see a small club progress up through the league. If Rangers continue like this, one day they might be considered the new Wrexham

Stockport 2, Alfreton 0. Only 14 minutes gone. This could be a hammering
