I said before that I felt if Newcastle got a win tonight that they'd exorcise a few daemons, but on that they look as shite as ever.

Very tough league this.  It's good that we have both a direct and play through option up front. Newcastle missed that tonight.

It's a really important result, because more than anyone they were being presented as the best team in the league.

But the stuff I saw does show how competitive this league will be. I still think we're in for a really tough game on Sunday. I'd be happy w a draw while we get better players in and acclimatised

I expect we will be in for a tough game. But that's because Sheffield Wednesday are miles better than who Newcastle just lost to.
