Right, some "Other Games" for the other games thread.

Champions League and Europa League tonight.

CL: Flora Tallinn (Est) v Lincoln Red Imps (Gib) 5pm
TNS (sort of Wal) v Tre Penne (San M) 7pm

EL: St Patrick's (Ire) v Jeuness Esche (Lux) 7.45pm.

Everybody excited now?

(Actually I probably would watch the TNS game if BBC Wales or S4C could be arsed to televise it).

Bala Town, Europa FC (Gib), Llandudno, Cliftonville, Connah's Quay, Aberdeen, Linfield, Cork, Hearts, Shamrock Rovers and Glenavon all enter the EL on Thursday.

Imagine the Imps will lose and TNS will win.

St. Pat's V Jeunesse Esch could go either way (although I fancy the Luxembourgers).

TNS are 20-1 on. That must be the shortest a Welsh League team has ever been in a European game.

Only a 2-1 win for TNS.
St Pat's won 1-0
Lincoln lost 2-1

Here's a name from the past.

Valur are playing Brøndby tonight in a Europa League qualifier.

Game kicks off in Reykjavik at 11pm after the Poland v Portugal game!

It does seem pretty stupid that they play about fifty games tonight when quite a few will clash with the Euros when they could've just played yesterday. Can't understand the logic in that.

Anyway, tonight's UK/Ireland Europa League matches are:

AIK (Swe) v Bala Town 1730
Europa (Gib) v Pyunik (Arm)1730
Gothenburg v Llandudno 1730
Differdange (Lux) v Cliftonville 1800
Connah's Quay (Wal) v Stabaek (Nor) 1915
Aberdeen v Fola Esch (Lux)
Linfield v Cork 1945
Hearts v Infonet Tallinn 2000
Shamrock Rovers v ROPS (Fin) 2000
KR Reykjavik v Glentoran 2015

Watching the NY Derby on TV in Philly before flying home tonight.

Having seen him live a couple of weeks ago and now on TV, Jack Harrison for NYCFC looks quite a prospect.

I suspect that Man City control where he plays (born in Stoke but moved to US) and will bring him to England at some point.

Gibraltarian Champions Lincoln Red Imps beat Estonians Flora Tallinn to set up a Champions League tie with Celtic.

Klopp gets a 6 year contract from a mid-table mediocre side, yet he isn't good enough to integrate Benteke into his team. The world of football is crazy! Imagine the pay-off on that deal when he gets offloaded.

Forest now have a ground capacity of 0 as they don't have a safety certificate.

It's still a mystery to me how the directors and officers of SWFC at the time have not been criminally charged and for that matter Sheffield City Council who were complicit in the Safety certificate issue.

And, of course, the FA who chose Hillsborough, despite complaints and problems experienced there in previous SFs in the 80s.
