My nephew Tommy met Tommy elphick today

He was  a proper gent

Beautiful!

Does your nephew sit on Row 14 Middle Trinity? If so, he and his Mom ( I assume his mom) are lovely.

yes thats  Denise his mom . . .  where abouts are you and what do you look like ?  :)

I'm seat 27, one of the 3 women in the centre of the row. I'll say hello to them next week.

Solid on the whole but out done by ' Mopey ' for the goal.
Elphick has done ok but as commentary said he was out muscled a few times by the smaller man.

Got rolled by mopey in trying to nick ball ahead of him and too often he makes the wrong decision that proves costly.
That was saved by Kalinic but come final minutes Tommy does what he does best or doesn't do which is be efficient in defending  .

Such a shame as he has performance has been ok but he makes these wrong moves despite generally defending well

I'll actually be gutted if he's done for the season. It didn't look good but his partnership with Mings is/was looking so good. I wonder how far Chester is away from playing?

On crutches after the game according to Smith - given he left the pitch on a stretcher I'm actually taking that as a good sign!  It's better than leaving in a wheelchair!

Sounds like he's damaged ankle ligaments - could be 4-6 weeks out.

We could do worse than offering him another years contract.  Hope he's back quickly.

Gutted for Elphick.  He put an absolute beaut of a reducer in on one of their players.

Chester hasn't even't been mentioned in press conferences of late, so I'd guess he's nowhere near coming back.

Chester said he wasn't that far away from returning in an interview in the week. Think it will be a case of needs must as it's not the sort of game you'd really want to throw a young CB like Revan into.

Other option is Taylor at LB and Hause centrally alongside Mings.
