Elphick has impressed me since coming back from Hull. At least we own him.....
Hey Colin welcome to the forum. Not for long I'm afraid. Elphick's current contract runs out on the 30th June. He's impressed me since he's come back too - looks a different player - not sure if this is down to Bruce or the player (or a bit of both?).

Thanks for the welcome. I think if he carries on playing well he should get another contract. Depending on which division we are in of course.

Does your nephew sit on Row 14 Middle Trinity? If so, he and his Mom ( I assume his mom) are lovely.

Amongst all the criticism that I aimed at TE, I always had the desire to be proved completely wrong. I haven't seem him play since he came back so looking forward to it tonight (albeit in TV).

I think TE is like a horse that runs better when he has a mate with him in his box.  Tyrone Mings (if he does not face Madame Guillotine) will bring out the best in him.

I think the criticism under RDM and when Bruce arrived was justified, he just struggled to settle in. However last season he came in for a few games and did fine before Bruce dumped him and again at the start of this season he played well in the opening game before Bruce dumped him to bring in Jedinak instead. He then did well with Hull and has carried that on since he got back, loaning him out this season was a massive mistake that I've never really understood, it left us ridiculously short in defence.

I think Bruce thought he'd sign Moukoudi or McKenna.
Regardless, it was a stupid decision.

He probably did but you don't let him go until they're in the room ready to sign the contract, it's as if the Joe Bryan thing taught him nothing.

He settled in well, behaved like a captain with the staff, new players and fans. He played well to stat with but then Potato Head decided to play his brand of shite and it didn't suit Elphick.

Is it really a surprise that we seem to be getting the player we signed now that we have a progressive manager who likes a similar style of football to Eddie Howe?

Mostly true but, like a few others, he was guilty of silly mistakes late in games under RDM.

That's brilliant people get on Tommy's back but it's great when he stops for a picture with the fan's top picture Juan Pablo.

Didn't he get caught making comments about Bruce on a train and then was quickly binned ?  If Bruce had of been on the trains back from Witton after the games he was in charge he would of heard far worse.

Nice picture, I bumped into Tommy after a game at VP, he was friendly and came across as a very decent bloke.
Another one treated badly by Bruce.
