i thought he played well on Saturday, the best defender on our team by a country mile!

When you look at our back 4 though it is so slow, any team that has pace and play a pass and move game, will have a field day against us

Both Hutton (apart from the scuffed cross for Abrahams goal) and Taylor (apart from that tackle half way through the 2nd half) were absolutely woeful and looked as though they are finished at Championship level

And I don't know what to say about our new keeper? he should be done under the trades description Act - whoever has scouted him needs to borrow my glasses!

But for the keeper we'd have had to 6 nil defeats on the spin and been beaten on Saturday.

I've been pleasantly surprised by him

Elphick was our best defender on Saturday and I say this after calling him out as shit after his tenth game for us two seasons ago.

I agree. Elphick is back to the form he was in last new year against Bristol City and Middlesbrough.

Yes, he's been good since he came back, and has shown that he was very unfairly treated by Bruce.

Completely written off by some even though he has done well at this level.

He was also ok this time last year when Terry was injured. He is a decent back-up centre half.

I've never minded him that much since he's been here anyway.

Apparently he’s better when he’s not asked to whack it long time after time for it to come right back at the defence and is actually allowed to play it out.

His distribution has certainly improved. This is something Terry was brilliant at, interceptions and lay-offs to team mates rather than whacking it anywhere.
