He's awful. So much for the head butting the post before the game. He stands out as shit which is some going in this team.

Such a mug player.

I mentioned in the match thread so many of our players are better than what they're producing.

Elphick really isn't imo. This idea that was floated when he signed that he was some defensive rock at Bournemouth...they conceded loads of goals at this level the year they went up.

He's just utterly inept at every aspect of defending.

I know quite a few Bournemouth fans who seem to know their stuff, and they all say he was a decent player if slightly loopy.

Sadly for us, he h gone wrong, in his brain tank.

He obviously has passed through the talent draining machine that we call Bodymoor heath

Any player who feels the need to head butt the post before the game is clearly not composed enough.

Calderwood used to slap himself in the face in the dressing room and was a good defender.

Elphick is like a skittish horse being drowned by the saddle of playing for a club this big.

Can't someone offer this twunt money to eat a pie during Saturday's game? Then again he'd probably drop it.

It's different to do it in relative privacy. Elphick clearly is way over hyped every time he plays.

I'd rather have Micah Richards instead of this liability.

He is pound for pound the worst Villa player I've seen. He's third division at best, so technically deficient it's embarrassing

He started the first few games OK, but has gone downhill rapidly since then.  His confidence looks shot to pieces.

I don't think he started the first few games ok, didn't he fuck up for the Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield goals?
