Jedinak has just been panned for his performance for the Aussie this week

It might be form he can recover,  but I'd honestly play Westwood ahead of him at the moment

When you are in your early 30s in that position, sometimes not so easy and has he the same appetite?

I'm biased because I never saw him as that great in the first place

His passing is just so bad (and then occasionally he'll drill a really lovely 40 yard ball out wide)

Took me a while to find this thread! Shocking mistake has cost us again. A long ball punt towards him should've been comfortably dealt with, but he slipped like a comedy act and gifted them 3 points...

I'd rather see Hutton in a back three than this clown.

He really is poor isn't he?

Sell in the summer for me.

If Bruce wants to continue at the back we need some actual CBs with pace and who can actually pass the ball. Chester is fine but for distribution Chester and Baker certainly aren't.

I'd rather SB give young Bedeau a bash than Tommy.

Sometimes a manager is faced with a dilemma if a player has been in reasonable form, but players in similar positions have played even better.

You either leave out a player in decent form, or you change your shape.

This shouldn't have been a dilemma as far as Elphick was concerned. He was bobbins when he was a first team regular earlier in the campaign and he has been bobbins in his fleeting appearances since then.  I have seen nothing in his game to convince me he is worth shoehorning into any starting XI.

I'd never have a go at a manager for trying something different. I hear the arguments about Bruce's transfer business being geared around 4-4-2 and then setting up 5-3-2 against not one but two sides with little attacking threat. Slightly oddball.  But I could just about wear that.

What is infuriating is persisting with Fatty Arbuckle Agbonlahor when he was so clearly off the pace and offering little, and now seemingly doing the same for Elphick.

Idiotic, unnecessary blockheaded decisions that have both helped to scupper our season in different ways.

I'd never actually heard of him until we signed him - I'm beginning to understand why.

My view of Elphick is that he should only ever wear a villa shirt again if he's bought it from the Villa Store.

He's an accident waiting to happen. His presence undermines the keeper and his fellow defenders. Yesterday I watched the team and thought that there's him and Hutton who wouldn't have improved last years team.

Bruce rates his attitude, Gabby's too. In Steve's world it's only fair to give both plenty of opportunities.

I had high hopes for Mad Tom, but he's been awful for us. Definitely seems one we need to try and palm off on someone in the summer.

He's come in and made an alright pairing in Chester and Baker far, far worse.  And of course playing the extra defender means we're weaker in midfield.  Absolutely crazy thinking from Bruce.

Finding a spot for an inform player fair enough, but getting Boon into a Villa side after his performances this season, quite baffling. I would not have in on the bench, he seeps panic and inability and the rest of the team know that.
