Just remembered i read or heard something last week about him losing quite a lot of money recently in a property investment that's gone tits up

Could this have took his eye off the ball ?

He started quite well i thought, but he's been getting worse by the week recently to my eyes.

I can name at least two Villa legends who lost money on property speculation and it did not hold back their careers.

So as well as looking like a poor CH, he has managed to lose money in property investment. How is the latter possible given the way values in all properry sectors have only been going up over the last 5 years

He won't be looking forward to a new guy coming in. Anything like the last few performances and he'll be well down the pecking order

Ditto Jedinak

Down the pecking order to who though? I think both Tommy and Jedinak will be fine with a manager who understands how to set up a team.

I don't I'm afraid.  It's not like the defence has chopped and changed personnel or formation much.  Chester's been OK, Elphick is just poor.

He had been awful,  but maybe a new manager can give them all a lift.    But him and Jedinak have been truly awful so who knows.

I don't deny that they have both been way below expectations. But when you set up a team to play as open as we are and have that many forwards at one time the defence becomes completely exposed. But I agree they both need to be better along with everyone else. Especially our expensive and well paid forwards.

We should play 4-3-3.

All true perhaps

But Jedinak and elphick were  unspeakably bad against Newcastle. I mean so bad I'll remember those performances forever. Struggling to think of worse.
