He looked so bad I'd consider baker over him next game, to be fair to Nathan hes put in his usual very good blocks he's capable of the last few games, he's just a big risk with his injury proneness. Elphick looks all over the shop, severely lacking pace and calmness.

I think he's trying to play like he's better than he is. He'd be better off just getting rid a bit more

Could have cost us three yday, to add to similar mistakes v Brentford and Ipswich

Make those mistakes in the premier league and it's 3-4 goals conceded

Why was Baker taken off? Should've been Elphick after that shocker. Or was Baker injured?

He really should be dropped after that display yesterday , he has been poor for the last few games.I don't think he will though as being Captain will give him a bit more more protection from being rested for a few games.

Thing is if you look at end of season tables not many Division 2 sides finish with a great defensive record. Conceding less than 40 doesn't happen that often. And teams have won it conceding 50+. Elphick hasn't convinced me at all but we've conceded 9 in 9 despite all our fuck ups so it's not a disaster. Yet. Hopefully.

Oh my...! That's certainly put the chat amongst the pigeons. I do hope you've got your tin hat handy, Pete.  :o

I thought Clark was decent - no more

Most interesting thing with Clark yesterday is he was constantly booting the ball into the stand and being safety first.

He was another we had in defence who was constantly messing around on the ball thinking he was Beckenbauer.

It's not rocket science. If your defenders are dodgy on the ball just tell them to clear it.

He needs to be much much better. Jedinak and him are two of the poorest players in the side at the moment, and they're not offering any of their supposed 'leadership'.

Maybe he had some talent, but as per usual, we coach anything good out of him and he ends up looking hopeless.

Thought he was guilty of slowing the play down yesterday. Too slow to move the ball and too many touches.

£3.5M isn't much in todays inflated market. We paid £11m for Kodjia plus add ons. A new centre back is a must in January. The defence looks short of quality.

Well I can't complain too much about him. I like many of our signings I didn't know who they played for before and their names didn't really ring too many bells with my memory.

Not quite what I expected though from the comments on this site.

We bought him because he was considered to be a leader of men and a safe pair of hands in the championship. We should contact trading standards first thing Monday morning!
