Total carthorse, a year out without football has damaged him at his age it seems. Swallow our pride, if we have any left, fuck him off and pick anyone else, somehow we've managed to sign another walking clanger.

We are specialists in that particular department.

He isn't anywhere near good enough, Clark is a better player.

We're playing really well - I think we're a good bet to go straight back up.
This is best spliff I've had in fucking ages.

Sounds like he was poor again. These 'leaders' aren't exactly showing a good example.

It's a painting by numbers approach to football.

MON-esque.  Need some leadership = sign a  few captains.

Ignoring that both players are on the slide.  All the fist pumping in the world aint gonna change that.

I'd be dropping him for the next game.

Was better in the 2nd half, fist half a big part of the problem was that our shape meant he was often 1on1 with Gayle and he didn't look comfortable with the difference in pace.  I'm not saying he's blameless but I think rdm needs to learn from that and not play 3 centre backs agianst a lone striker again, it really played into their hands.

Well he's a booking away from a ban so we will soon see us lineup without him. My guess is v Preston next weekend.

He's very very average.

Make no mistake Bournemouth didn't get promoted because he was marshalling clean sheets week in week out, they actually conceded plenty the year they went up but could outscore teams.

They had the second best defense in the division that season.

I beg to differ. Eddie Howe was able to get the best out of his players through managerial skill and tactical nous: and Elphick was a crucial part of that team's success. I realise he's played like a drain since he came here, but he's one of a number of players who are struggling with RDM's laughable 'tactics' and 'organisation'. Maybe TE is past his best now, but I still think he can do a damned-sight better than he has done. And he sure as shit ain't the only one.

Interesting to see how Clark looked playing under a decent manager and as part of something approximating a system.

We seem to take the freeform jazz approach to defending.  The personnel changes, but the ineptitude doesn't.
