I think what he lacks in pace he makes up for with heart and leadership.  I think he could turn out to be an extremely shrewd buy.

He reminds me of Shaun Teale, if we could get the equivalent of Paul Mcgrath playing alongside him we're in business!

Imagine. Micah Richards with the  right attitude alongside him
After 90 months minutes in a villa shirt I can't believe Bournemouth let him go

I prefer to imagine Richards clutching his p45.

He certainly looks like a warrior on the pitch. Something we've been lacking for a long, long time.

The challenge with the clash of heads was enough for me. I've spent too long watching balls like one delivered end up in our net whilst our flat footed defenders watch on. He spotted it a mile off and didn't think twice, he threw himself at it.

Add in the fact he really doesn't seem "hinged" and he has cult hero written all over him.

Think he's going to be everyone favourite player before the end of the month if he plays like he did on Sunday, true leader, true grit, proper captain at last

Is that one of those oxymoron things, like Military Intelligence and Blues Trophy Cabinet?

I missed the pre-match build up on Saturday. Did Elphick do his routine like he used to do at Bournemouth?

Do you mean at the home end goal post?
If you do then yes
