Will be interesting to see what sort of gates we get throughout the season.  My guess is they will stay above 30000 most weeks.

There'll be good numbers of away support too ( little clubs big day out) this will boost the gates you'd think

The good Doctor says we've sold 18,000 season tickets, which must only be a few shy of what we usually shift. That should hold attendances steady.

It will depend on a lot of things: how well we start the season; what days certain games are played; who the opposition is. My guess is an average league attendance of around 29k. There's a lot of derbies and former big clubs down there so we'll have quite a few 30k attendances I reckon, but those will be dragged down by the odd 19k mid-week outing against the likes of Huddersfield.

Anything over a 26k average would be Ok for us next season, in my view.

Did we clear up whether the upper trinity is shut all season, or just for certain games? I know it was discussed at length, but not sure what the verdict was.

we were told all season no matter what. But that was under the previous regime and they would be crazy not to review that as the season goes on

I think attendances will hold up for the first few games, with the novelty factor of playing different clubs etc. Then it will depend on whether results/performances have been any good whether people decide to keep going.

The only way we'll ever get a sub 20k crowd is if there are, based on current figures, less than 2,000 walk ups and no away fans.

We only have three home midweek fixtures as it stands (few more could be moved for FA cup games in second half of season) so that will help the average attendance.

No season tickets are being sold for Upper Trinty as we know but I fully expect it to be open for games this season, probably after xmas for the run in.

Just on the Sheff Weds site trying to find ticket details for our game and was surprised to see that apparently they've sold 20,000 STs at prices from £500-700.

Great spec from up there - but atmosphere is dead.

Sky fixtures for games up to end of September will now be announced on Wednesday

Any idea what time they're updating the fixtures on Sky? Not updated so far today.
