It does annoy me that they feel the need to remind us of the last result though, that's tow summers now where on of the first things you see on the Villa website is "Arsenal 4 Villa 0" - to make it worse the new design lists the last four results so now a bad one will linger for weeks during the season as well.

New owners, new manager, new back room staff, new website - good!

Player profile Gabriel Agbonlahor Games 15 Goals 1 Assists 2 - not good!

I do not see Kevin Macdonald listed. Has he gone? Cowans appears to have kept his job.

Clicking that link made me realise I barely ever go on the official site. I get all my Villa news right here. I've used it for tickets occasionally but, other than that, nada.

I rarely use the website but I have noticed a change in the tone of the Twitter feed.

It's feels more personable, not so cold and matter of fact and is certainly more (but not often) partisan.

They tweeted a reminder about the J6 closure earlier, with a fabulous picture of Villa Park from the Expressway.

I noticed this too, it's a good change and seems to be more in tune so far. Some of the timing of tweets and posts from Villa's old social media, some of their interviews and blind-propaganda type posts were horrible to endure.
