Wolves when I was a kid - were on the slid, then somehow  made  a comeback in the early 70's  and again another attempt in the late 70's.  Their ground was always a rubbish  tip.  They couldn't even match the South Bank to the pitch.  It was all lopsided.  Sang Leeds songs, fans  have  continued to look like Slade for as  long as I have known (even though as far as i know none of the Slade group were actually born in Wolverhampton), wish they were The Villa and today appears to be continued as one of England's crappiest towns/cities for guide book purposes.

We may live in our heads  in the late 70's/80's but they are way back in the 50's.

Drink in Birmingham and then get the train down. Wolverhampton City Center is off limits to away fans on match days and is shite anyway, the police put the away fans in a crap bar by the train station called the Blue Brick.
