Isn't there some question as to whether it's him or his agent posting the tweets?

I read an article recently about most sensible slebs having digital media managers on their payroll.

If he's telling his agent what to type that's pretty encouraging.

After quadruple by pass surgery I would think he would be incapable of tweeting anything.

He has always spoken well about us whenever asked too. Not empty rhetoric and platitudes either, sounds like he is actually bothered a bit.  Which immediately puts him above the likes of Ray Houghton and (sadly) David Platt and Mark Bosnich.  Players who did far more in a Villa shirt, but seem to see their time at VP as something to gloss over.

I've listed to Houghton and Bosnich on Talksport and never had that impression.

I was watching one of our recent games live on French TV (don't ask me which one, I have erased them all from memory) and after the final whistle David Ginola launched into a passionate speech about how gutted he was to see the plight we are in. He ripped into the wankers calling themselves footballers and told the watching French public what a great club we were.

I was never a fan whilst he was playing and never really wanted him to sign, mainly because I thought he spent too much time on his arse whining at referees. But his public utterances since retiring have revealed someone who actually cares about the game, rather than those who just view it as an easy way to not working after 30.

guérissez bientôt (I hope I've remembered that correctly)

Come back soon David.  Don't let that plonker Cantona hog the limelight.

Get well soon David. If you don't we'll send Sue Barker over - she'll finish you off.
