Ah fuck it, it was a half arsed, experimental, get some fitness under your belt, preseason training match played in 2nd gear.

Am I the only one who thinks Grealish is a complete waste of space?

Another Lee Hendrie!

Clearly thinks he's better than what he is, he won't be able to take the physical play from opposing teams this season and will go hiding.

Get rid!

Too obvious

So much for the "We spend 20,30,40, even 50 Mirrion on players"

Same old rubbish, we are in for a hard season unless we bring in some quality players.

Not looking like a ding dong at Villa Park this season more like a Ping pong with last seasons shite squad.

I'm putting it out there, I laughed.

I bet you find Jim Davidson hilarious.
Big Break wasn't bad as a kid.

This is starting to seem like promises we have had the last few seasons of money being made available. However, in reality nothing much seems to be happening, no links are being made regarding possible new signings etc.and the season starts next week with a tonking at Sheffield by the looks of our performances so far.

We need action Dr Tony NOT words as we've heard them all before and, League 1 will beckon if you don't pull your finger out an, very quickly at that. As an aside, maybe then Brexiters can somehow negotiate us having just one lot of the weekly £350 million we will be saving from having voted out lol!!!!!

Well nothing like heading into a new season after having been relegated the previous one on a high. Fuck me. So much work to do

That's why I was concerned by last week mate. We won but I wasn't impressed one single bit by our play and we hardly created a chance. Sounds like Boro ruthlessly exploited that second half today.

Yes pre season is about fitness but surely it's also about establishing a style of play and also getting into good habits. I'm a bit worried RDM hasn't seemed to change much at all and seems to be gambling that this group of player will magically become amazing just because we're dropping down a division.

Still a lot of work to do before we're promotion standard e.g. Bacuna and Westwood not being regular starters.

RDM has invited all this criticism on himself. Lack of any planning or urgency to address a dire squad of players.

So predictable, you could see this coming a mile off. Lack of investment yet again.

This.  We are nowhere near ready and the season starts next week.  Wheres the 30 million Carsen Xia promised?

Carson!

I haven't been impressed by much I've seen in pre-season, I have to say. I keep telling myself it's about fitness, but Di Matteo is a new boss, with new ideas and a new approach. So far, I can just see the same mistakes made by slightly different faces in slightly different formations.

No you're not. I agree about both players mentioned.

New ideas, new approach... all meaningless unless you have new players, instead of utter wasters like Westwood and fucking Bacuna still clogging up your squad like a galaxy-consuming supermassive black hole of talent.

we've changed the managers regularly, the only thing that we haven't changed are the players who once they cross the line have it under their control to produce what is necessary . They don't but they will still take the money each week

Bacuna was utter bobbins today. I was probably casting a more critical eye over him than anybody in the side, but even with low expectations I thought he was dreadful.
