It's definitely not good enough this team. But two well targeted signings would make a big difference

We need what we have needed as long as I can remember .....
1) Ball winning midfielder in the Joey Barton mould ....dont mean JB just someone nasty like he is
2) Creative midfield player
3) Goalscorer in the McCormick mould
Will take approx 20 million but we won't be far off that from sales

I'd definitely be happier w green and RHM on the bench. We've only got Sinclair as an attacking option

Bit odd I'd have thought

Hutton's fine. He'll easily be one of the best fullbacks in the division.

This. Hutton should comfortably be one of the best right backs in this league.

No point looking at Sinclair as surely by next week he will have gone ....... Don't understand why he is on bench other than for injuries

#AVFC team v @Boro: Gollini, Hutton, Cissokho, Elphick, Baker, Gardner, Westwood, Grealish, Bacuna, Ayew, Gestede.

Reckon that's the team he has in mind for next week

Only surprise for me is Gardner, not Tish

Green and RHM to get 30 mins+

I can see that team lining up something like:

                          Gollini

Hutton         Elphick       Baker     Cissokho

                 Westwood    Gardner

Bacuna                 Grealish          Ayew

                            Gestede

Grealish and Ayew might be swapped or it might even be a diamond in midfield with Ayew and Gestede up top.  Whatever it is, upgrades are required on Hutton, Baker, Westwood and Bacuna.

Cissokho really is poor, we have to do better than him.

It's easier to chose who you would want to see,
Elphic,Grealish, Ayew, Gollini.
Gardener and Gestede maybe, the rest ?

Is that Tony Morley on the live stream suggesting the likes of Lescott and Agbonlahor should be paid off and fucked off?

God it's depressing to see the players Boro have got in attack now compared to us with bacuna and gestede as first choice

Hutton, Baker, Cissohko, Westwood, Gestede and Bacuna-its hard to get excited when six of the starting 11 are garbage.
