Cissokho played well. Can only assume those slagging him off were watching a different game. Green very good and Hepburn-Murphy promising. Ayew and Gestede pretty decent.

Gana terrible.

Sinclair much worse than Gana.
Hepburn-Murphy scored against Worcester. Did he feature in both games?

Went to the Worcester game. The Russian looked very lively when he came on, Bennett had a decent game and Tsihbola took it easy without overdoing it. Gabby still looks very past it though.

Did we have two first team games today? Was RDM at both?

I wonder how involved Hepburn-Murphy, Green and Davis will be this season. Or whether any of the other kids will come through too.

I think Green could feature quite a bit this season.

I think RHM and Green will be around the team this year.

I went to both games yesterday, there's not been much positive stuff to say about villa the last few years but I thought yesterday showed what a classy club we are.
Results arnt really important but we went to 2 non league clubs & took very good squads to both & took 2000+ fans to both which would have helped 3 clubs (Stourport Swifts included) massively financially.
After the 2nd game our players & manager all stopped on the pitch for a good 30 minutes signing autographs & having photos with supporters.
Good PR stuff I know but great to see.

Went to the Worcester City game yesterday...thought we were the same old static Villa with Kozak as the target man...very little movement, one dimensional, Hutton our main attacking outlet...except for the two goals, pretty disappointing.
Much better with Stan on sitting in front of the back 4 (not suggesting this is a permanent fix!), Grealish offered more and RHM was a delight - for his goal he held off two Worcester defenders, used his pace and finished with confidence ...Davis finished his two chances really well and we should have had more. Toner MOTM for me - solid and totally reliable throughout. Not impressed by Kozak, Gil, Gabby.

two wins, good for morale but lets be honest results against teams from the 6th tier is no barometer of anything

less than 3 weeks to go so a big week coming up for ins and outs

What I like about Kozak though is he seems to anticipate where the ball is going to land in the box. I think if he was to stay injury free, he'd knock in a few goals in this league.

Yep, big and ungainly but seems to have that sense of anticipation and knack of knowing where to be when the ball comes into the box.  Also think if he stays injury free and gets a run of games he could score a few this year.

Always been a fan of Kozak, just don't think we played to his strengths when he was on yesterday...took his goal really well and should have had at least one more, but don't think he put himself about enough; something he usually does pretty well! As with Gestede, if we get more crosses in he'll create more danger/goals.
