Two wins in about five hours is an improvement on two wins in about five months.

7 goals in about 5 hours is also a improvement ,it took us about 3 months last season to score that many

This whole winning games thing is all a bit odd.

Any insights into our formation and style of play for both games? Somethng RDM mentioned in his Austria AVTV interview is he was trying to get the squad instilled with his way fairly quickly.

I wondered if anyone had an analysis or opinions for those who saw it?

Cheers!

Can only go on the Telfraud game but it looked 3-5-2 or maybe 3-5-1-1

Wing backs, Ayew roaming, To be honest fuck knows! Andre Green was superb though,

Whooooooa there. You mean we're not stabbing wildly in the dark until we stumble across something that works which we'll then ditch as soon as it hits a blip? How's that gonna work, eh?

It seems RDM favours 4231. Without Richards, Amavi, Bacuna and Traore though so might not be able to tell just yet, particularly with Clark, Guzan and Sanchez to get back from international duty.  If he is planning on the likes of Ayew and Gueye being part of the side he might have to rethink.

Ayew seemed deep. I was impressed with Elphick though

Looks like both sides were set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, which suggests that might be the way we go.

I'd have said it was 4-2-3-1. the young no 21 (Sulleman?) was right back in a back four and Westwood and Gana played as the two holding midfielders. Ayew centre of the three with Sinclair and Green either side of him, and then Gestede up top. Green played very wide on the right and looked good I thought.
