Can't read too much in that, but delighted to see Stan back in a Villa shirt and it looks like Elphick will have the captaincy.  Was wondering where Amavi wax but it seems he has a slight injury.  I guess we'll see it piece together more over the coming weeks.

Slight injury? He's at the final stages of getting over a cruciate ligament rupture. He'll only be thrown in when they're sure he's ready.

Apparently he's been training well and picked up a little knock. He missed today as a precaution. But nothing related to his big injury

Is anyone going to Worcester next week, and if so can you pay on the door? I want to take my 5 year old lad to his first away game.

I've noticed that imbecile Greg Evans likes to have subtle little digs at Villa on Twitter, he loved the fact a plane was flown over Villa Park for the last home game celebrating our relegation.
They had a collection at "Errols" funeral to pay for that plane. Greg Evans probably put to it. I take that kind of thing as a compliment. They are obsessed by the villa and can't help themselves. Hilarious really.
Can't wait for Stan to walk out at Villa Park again. What he's done is remarkable. He is going down as a true Villa legend.

Don't forget it's at Stourport Swifts ground (capacity 2000 - no dogs allowed!) so if you don't get there early you may not get in - more details on Worcester City's site. If your lad was just under 5 he'd get in free  ;)

It's possible that he took it all in his stride, but equally that could have been quite an emotional day for Stan.  It's an incredible story.

Stan has done amazingly and I'd love him to be club captain this year.

Not sure why the Mail piece thought any mention of Crystal Palace winning against the same team 13-1 has any relevance. Unless, of course, they're just trying to sneer and on the wind up.
