I used my five votes for Gabby, Lescott, Richards, Bacuna and the final option was a toss up between Black and Guzan. I opted for Black. Obviously Guzan is fucking shit and the spitting incident was stupid, but other than that his attitude generally seems to be okay. However Black...I know he was given a really shitty job to do but the fact he has set out such negative line ups, even when we're already down (lets face it we were down months before he came in anyway) is unforgivable. I think it's fucking pathetic. As pathetic as anything a Villa "manager" has ever done in the history of the club. It's right on level with McLeish's final game against Norwich. We were safe. A final home game against a bog standard side. We could have enjoyed it but he played about 8 defenders and then Heskey on the wing IIRC. If a game really matters and is a must not lose kind of game I can see why you might set out not to lose and be a bit cautious, but when the result is utterly irrelevant...PLAY FOR A WIN YOU UTTER, UTTER FUCKING COCK WOMBLE. I've decided that nothing about football, and in particular when it's my club, winds me up more than that kind of pathetic apathy. Black's lineup should have been a criminal offence. He should have been locked up for it. I won't go as far as suggesting we bring back hanging, but ask me again after the final game.
As i'm so lovely, go on admit it you know you want to, i've edited it so that you can now remove your one vote and vote again using all five. Just click "remove vote" and then vote again using your 5 votes.
Eric Black can only be playing for another minor management job somewhere. His inability to either understand or accept that the crowd are getting behind the club not the players beggars belief. His tenure is eerily like Steve Coogan's pool attendant. Game 1, nobody died, game 2 nobody died, game 3 Okore jacked but nobody died, game 4 nobody died, game 5 Traore jacked but nobody died, game 6 outraged all the loyal fans by being arrogant and patronising but nobody died.Apologies, wrong thread.
