The only plane I'd fly over St Andrews is a crop duster.

I'd prefer a crap duster.

Is Agent Orange still available these days?

We sent them Agent Ridgewell, but Lee Hendrie retired years ago without playing for them.

I'm working in Newcastle today and the consensus is that their team created its own mess. There isn't any real bitterness or animosity directed at Villa.

I wish the local papers in Brum covered the Villa with half the clarity and honesty of the Newcastle Chronicle.

My friend who used to play No 9 for Newcastle told me of a Europa tie he once played in somewhere in southern Europe on a ground which had three stands but the one goal was about four feet from the vertical face of a cliff.  Shots off target immediately rebounded into play.

Have a Google of Braga's ground.

Sounds like (a slightly embellished version) of that.

It is a corker of a ground though.

They had a collection the sad bastards. I wouldn't put 1p towards something like it. Their shitty little piss pot club  just don't mean anything to me. Twats.

Thanks for that Dave, sounds as though it could be the ground.

I had a flick through Toon Forum earlier. It was all going well and I see Malandro from here popped on for a sensible discussion.  Then some of them gor all anti Villa and a Blues fan pretending to be one of us signed up to slag our support.

I would cheerfully sign up for a chat myself but think reasoned debate, peppered with a touch of "bantz", would explode the mind of some of the hard of thinking that crawled out when a Villa fan reared their head.

Just been reading that the reason Newcastle were as bad as us on Saturday was due to the beach balls ........... it never allowed them to get into their stride

What a laugh ....... we can use them against next year when they come down

IIRC, Carlisle looked out on to a picturesque vista and from memory York City was in a nice spot.  All been a long time ago though so could be wrong.

Darlington back in the day featured a stroll through the local cricket clubs ground to get to the football ground. Don't know if it's still the same.

The combination of the last two posts has reminded me of watching York v Darlington at Bootham Crescent as a student at law school. While Deano and Dalian were tearing the inaugural Premier League new ones I was enduring the direst match I've ever seen - worse than a home game at Villa Park this season.
