I couldn't make it yesterday and although it doesn't sound like I missed much on the pitch, it sounds like I missed a heel of an atmosphere. I saw the line up before the game and groaned, a typical Eric Black starting 11. Still, it's hopefully sent Newcastle down with us.

I hear Mickey Quinn lost it with a Villa fan, post match on Talksport.

Good.

Another Villa hating prick, probably gained during his Coventry days.

Fat twat and thick as mince. He can bollocks.

The fans put their heart and sole into it.

Which one's the doll?

I just love his expression as he tosses it. His cap with bare chest look is pure class. Well played son, well played.

Its the air of nonchalance. The attitude of, "yes, I do this every day. I throw a blow up sex doll into a crowd of football fans. Its just who I am"**

Thought the protest march before the game was fantastic. Well done those who organised it.
What happened. Any pics from yesterday?

It was important that we don't lose the match as we still need to contribute to the integrity of the League. Newcastle were expected to win this as all pundits regarded the Villa match as their 3 point banker. I was pleased that we denied them and more pleased that Sunderland won. The most vociferous  Villa supporters around us turned out be my Sunderland mate in middle upper North. He also, like others have mentioned, absolutely admired our supporters and the atmosphere.
Another highlight of the day was meeting Brian Green and his two "little lads" at the Bartons!

Aftab, as you know my nephew sits near you. He said there were 4 Newcastle fans sat up there who made themselves known and were led out by stewards but got a beating on their way out. A bit daft.

Either I need a new PC or that really is unwatchable.

I'm sorry but I thought the c u next tuesday sign was an absolute disgrace. It wasn't a very dignified way for a protest to be conducted but I can't say i'm surprised.

I saw the c u next Tuesday banner but I didn't understand the relevance of it. I must have missed something about next Tuesday.
