As someone on FB has pointed out, the main problem is that each word is in one single colour but then 'clowns' is in multi-colour. It ain't gonna win any graphic design awards.

Wasn't there, watched online. Commentators praised the home supporters numerous times. Talked about how difficult it must be for Lescott and Bacuna when they were being booed every time they touched the ball.
Newcastle had lots of chances to score and still couldn't even beat the worst Villa side in the last 30 years. We were lucky they were so bad in front of goal.
Noise and atmosphere came across brilliantly. The inflatables was a great idea, effective and not offensive or a danger to anyone, took the heat out of the situation but got a point across, that the majority of fans are not happy with what is happening to our great club.
Not a fan of Black and his tactics and team choices, he could/should have shown more attacking intent and we could have won the game, but so glad we didn't lose and have those Geordie twats gloating.

Made the hairs stand up, hearing VP at full voice singing VTID.
Congratulations to everyone who went today, made us proud to be Villa again.

  • This is only a problem.
Well on the plus side Villa fans are incredible.
We did the club proud today with fantastic support for Aston Villa.
We've also got just 1 game to go before the season ends.

Thats it then Mr Black. Your time is up.

Pathetic, negative, and weak. Thats your team selections that is.

Goodbye.

The game had 0-0 written all over it from early on but it was enjoyable because the Villa fans made their own fun. Great support from all around the ground, well done to all. As others have said, it showed all and sundry, including possible new owners, what is possible down there.

Twat.

Was that it? All the hissy fit foot stamping since 2009 and that's the best they could come up with?

I know there self absorbed oafs, a kind of Kayne West of football, but even I thought they'd come up with something better than that.

Many Jawdees in the Holte?

Black is as delusional as he is useless. He reckons the atmosphere was the fans responding to the team's efforts on the pitch. The atmosphere was awesome in spite of the shit he served up, not because of it.

All that Black had to do to diffuse the situation and reduce the stick he takes was to a) start RHM or someone else instead of Sinclair and b) not play Bacuna. He chose not to do either and then compounded the problem by not making any substitutions until bringing on RHM at the end. It almost seems that he's deliberately trying to piss the fans off

I really enjoyed today despite the abysmal anti-football from Black. The atmosphere was tremendous.

Yes. I suspect I could live to be 100 years old and never witness an irrelevant 0-0 with an atmosphere like that. It was quite moving.

I loathe the people who run our club, and have nothing but contempt for most of the players, but I love the Villa.

Post-match highlight: minibus full of Newcastle fans yelling abuse out of the window but driving in precisely the wrong direction. They're probably doing circuits of Wolvo right now

Despite the fact that he was only a matter of yards away from me, what he heard and saw this afternoon appears to be completely different

Blacks just another in the long line of clueless numpties this club has employed over the last 5 years. He also needs to be fucked off ASAP.

Yes too  negative (are  we wolves or everton in  disguise) - we  need a target man thats for sure and a goalie

Lescott is a complete  dick but  was  outstanding today

Bacuna  is a dick but was his abysmal self  today

Villa crowd were fantastic  (so were Newcastle up  to half time)  I honestly didn't realise the match had to be stopped at 74 mins and  what were them extra 6 minutes for?

Really enjoyed my day though

Incredible, surreal atmosphere today.

The game itself came second-placed. I expected us to lose; not having a shot on target all day probably meant we deserved to.

Then hearing Sunderland had come from behind to beat Chelsea while Newcastle were the only Premier League team not to beat us this season produced much mirth.

Listening it small-minded geordies walking down Witton Lane with classics like "they don't have running water here", "well someone's got to live in Birmingham" and my personal favourite "Imagine a club who's entire season hangs on another club getting relegated" (It wasn't, but the world knew it'd wind yous up).
