Let's have something weird and stripey like the last time we were down.

That was my first kit.

Claret shorts and white socks.

Yikes!

We should go back to our 1884 kit

This as the home

This as the away

As we're a laughing stock we might as well look like clowns.

We should get Blue shirts and white shorts for next season in honour of the team that is pride of the midlands, like all the clubs that copied us back in the day when we used to be good.

Actually, maybe let me have a rethink on that...

Had to pop into the shop in town yesterday so asked one of the girls when the new kit is out.

Her reply?

"Er, probably around August time".

Better be before the 6th August when the Championship kicks off.

BTW, Sportsdirect are flogging the 81 retro kit for £14 at the moment

Must mean the takeover will go through around the end of July.

Sobering moment just now.  The Independent have an article on leaked Prem kits for next season...I clicked on it & only then realised we aren't a Prem team...

Just had a thought. Will we now have sponsors on the back of our shirts as well as the front, as seems to be the norm in the football league?

I think it looks awful.

My son has a subscription to Match of the Day magazine, he's not bothering next season.

If it's any consolation, we'll be top of the league all summer. Not even Arsenal above us.

Predictions for the new kit.

The Claret will be too dark, too plum and pretty much right all at the same time.
The Blue will be too pale, too sky blue and too baby blue. It will also have been absolutely nailed.
The socks will be wrong because they are/aren't black, don't look like the ones from 79-81 or are and aren't hooped.

The fit of the shirts will be too tight, too fitted or too loose.

The kit as a whole will be shit. It will also be OK, not bad and pretty good.
Sometimes it will also be f##king crap and absolutely wank compared to anything produced by Nike and Adidas.

One thing it will definitely be is sobering to see it adorned with The Championship logos.
