My other half thinks I have super powers after yesterday. I had no interest in the game so was happy to do the jobs she had lined up. At half four she made us a cup of tea and told me that we were winning, "we'll still lose" says I. We put Sky on just as they announced the second" "oh well, at least you have got a draw" says she. "No, there's still injury time, we"ll find a way".

Could have done without Harry The Hornet running up and down in front of the Villa end, pointing at the Premier League badge on his arm.

How about their way-too-old ballboy running onto the pitch to put the ball down for Bunn to take a goal kick. That's not supposed to happen is it ?

I bet you didn't have a bloke going into a bush to try and find the ball like we did yesterday!

I visited Millwall a couple of times back in the 70s and have to say i will never set foot there again. According to my Wolves supporting friend who went there last season the New Den is no better than the old one. Nasty atmosphere and very intimidating  Rather like St Andrews .

Two games that I won't be doing next season are away at St Andrews and Millwall (if they come up). Its just not worth the hassle

Trips to places like leeds and Millwall it's like the 70's all over again. The modern football fan won't quite able to get his head around it but to the one's like me who ate a little longer in the tooth it will be like going back in time. Not saying that is a good thing it's just the way things were years ago and you dealt with it. Catching the tube to West Ham was always a heart in the mouth experience...I think I'm too old for it these days so will choose my away days.

Some of the videos of the away end yesterday have had me in stitches. I applaud you all.

If I have enjoyed one thing since Xmas it has been the total disregard of opposition fans and their bemusement as we out-pisstake them at our own ineptitude - the fact Everton and Saints fans have actually joined in at home is a bonus. The noise we have made away from home is laudable and I raise a glass to every one of you. Keep it up at home now...
