Im gutted Villa are going down and that the season has gone so bad
but a lot of fans were pathetic today.
Booing your own team and players and hurling abuse at them is so detrimental
I was ashamed to be a Villa fan at the game today

I suggest you go and follow SHA - then you'll know the meaning of shame.

Grealish must wonder wtf is happening if he don't get a start for that pile of shite.

I honestly think they've decided that the ones for next season are being left out purely so the main culprits (minus Gabby) can take the abuse for the rest of the season.

Basically if you're currently in the starting line you're toast (with the odd exception).

But he's no Sid Cowans is he ? Where has all the talent disappeared to ? Think of all those we've lost including Albrighton for example ! Ideal for crosses to Gestede.........but no. Crosses for Leicester instead. It's a travesty.

I have no idea how many assists Albrighton has this season but , from MOTD viewings, it would not appear too many - he was powder-puff with us so I can see why he was let go - with a decent manager/coaches maybe he has blossomed?

Albrighton was always a class act. The Villa fans never appreciated him. Gestede would score many goals from his crosses but he can score lots of goals from Hutton's crosses next season instead. Neither Gestede nor Hutton are class players but they'll do well in the Championship.

His last assist was Dec 14th. He's got 7 this season. 3 were in the first 2 games of the season. All according to FPL.

Surely this is the time to give the kids a chance and the fans will get behind them instead of the overpaid useless feckers currently appearing on the pitch

Eric Black on WM.
"the supporters pay their money, they're entitled to their opinion.
"I made my decisions based on 35 years of experience in the game".

See, there it is.  "I've been involved in the game for 35 years and the fans haven't, so they know nothing".  Had obviously hasn't learnt too much in 35 years if he thinks the sides he has put out over the past few weeks are acceptable.

Wanted to make a mention for Toner who came on.  Looked a little on the slow side, but seems to have a good left foot.  He hit some great balls with it in the second half.

I noticed Toner was on the slow side if there is one thing you need in the premiership these days it is leg speed.

From da Beeb website

Quote
Southampton midfielder Shane Long went on Twitter to tell fans that there was still more to come this season a 3-2 victory at relegated Aston Villa on Saturday.

Midfielder?
3-2 ?

Just my opinion, but I think that's deliberate.

Unless he really is that stupendously crap?
