I thought tonight the fans would be happy?
We scored two goals at a home match. What more can you want? Ungrateful bastards. We work hard you know.

Sorry, I don't know what come over me. I had a bit of the Lescotts I think.

Anyone else notice that Guzan did not come into his goal until right on kick-off - he didn't face the Holte at any point in the warm up and ran backwards for the start of the match. Can't even look us in the eye...

Waited until 2.05 to hear the team. Westwood, Hutton, Bacuna & Lescott playing. Stayed at home. (could easily made the kick off if i left at 2.20 nowadays)

When you have a manager (Black) wanting to rely on the fitness of Richardson to select a side. You know you have plumbed the depths.

Yep.  Also noticed that he never went behind the goal once to retrieve the ball and instead waited for the ball boy to throw it back to him.

I have no doubts Richardson would have played today had he been fit.

Strange atmosphere today.  People didnt know whether to cheer or boo a Villa move.

Lescott must have ears of steel and skin thicker than a rhino.

Not the worst 11 individuals ever but by far the worst ever Villa team.

PS congrats to the fella  in the Upper Trinity who handed a plane on the pitch - quite a glide.

Well I had a grafting afternoon stripping woodchip wallpaper off my dining room ceiling. I looked at my phone just after 5 to see we'd lost, shrugged my shoulders and carried on. Hope everyone had fun with the paper planes.

I hate most of the players that played today, so much, I couldn't be bothered to boo them. They don't even deserve booing.

There were some lovely delta wing paper aircraft zooming about today with various levels of success. The one you referred to WW was obviously prepared by an experienced pair of aeronautical hands- a real delight in both style and duration of flight. My sons effort was an absolute fecking disgrace which went four rows forward and 20 seats to the side before crash landing - I feel completely let down by him, what on earth do they teach them at school nowadays?

That's right, blame the fans.

Collymore has just said we spoke to Nigel Pearson this week

Please tell me it's to inform him that his application was laughed at, then thrown in the bin.

I wonder how we will advertise the 2015/2016 Season DVD?

It'll be a gif not a dvd.

Brilliant!

Shall I save a bit of time and PM you my address now?!  ;D :P

You have to spoil everything, don't you.  ;)

S_H was cheering me up, the above and his post on the Pearson talks, though predictable had me in giggles and now you bring me crashing down to reality. It's not losing our bet that pisses me off, it's the realisation of just how shit we've become.

Fear not, they'll probably go and win the next two games just to piss me off.

Guzan , Lescott, Bacuna have been terrible all season like many others.

The three of them were instrumental again in another pitiful defensive display especially the first two goals.

Despite the ineptitude, I found the abuse uncomfortable though Black  was totally at fault today. Why on earth pick them to start with? Given the reception they got in the last two games it just beggared belief.
