The last communication from the club on this matter was that Randy is not a motivated seller. Given his cast-iron record of fecklessness, I'd say it's safe to assume he'll be applying the same expertise and dedication to selling Villa as he has to owning it.

Westwood was the only player to show any emotion yesterday. In tears at the end. Despite the flak he has on here I so genuinely believe he is one of the few that cares. In a decent midfield he can so a job.

God I'd forgotten about that. "Not a motivated seller". What the fuck does that even mean?

"OK, I wanna sell. A bit. Maybe. But not a lot. Although actually come to think of it nah, I might keep it after all. Probably. Whatever."

That's decisive leadership, for you.

It will be very tough, as Villa will be a scalp, but we need to see that as a positive, and prove that we deserve that 'honour'

I like to think we are a scalp but reading 'will be a scalp', wow that's a great statement.

Next season I (have to)trust the board will have the lion back into our team, fucked all the freeloaders off-im sure there gotta be a stinking bluenose in there somewhere-, ensured the whole club has moved forward together, so that the 'scalp' that Aston villa is, the players hear the lionslions (fans) roar and respond rather than shit themselves.

Cleaning their boots? He's no footballer.

Crying? He probably poked himself in the eye.

Probably because he knew he'd played his last Premier League game.

Problem is we have been saying for years that a lot of our players are not good enough for the premier, well we're not in the prem now

so maybe we have to look at them in a different way

players who haven't made the grade in the prem but have the right attitude as far as anyone can tell might just be able to do a good job in the championship

if we can keep hold of Ayew, Grealish and Traore up front I don't think there will be much better forwards in that league, then Gestede and even Sinclair both could be useful at that level

Add to them, Clark, Baker,  Hutton (who I think we will need down there) the French lads and yes even Westwood, maybe Gardner and one or two others and at that level we might do OK

attitude, commitment and unity will be essential next season players showing that even though we all know arnt good enough for the prem should we go up could be what we need short term

Create a new bomb squad for the rest, I never had a massive problem with it the last time Hutton permitting

An indelible stain to go in our history books.  Bravo Randolph - please, please fall on your sword and go.
He is trying to sell the club.

Yeah at a price no one is willing to pay. Meanwhile the club is relegated. Brilliant.

And what price is that?
at a price no one will pay, obviously.

I don't see the point in keeping Westwood if we can get rid of him. He's had three seasons in the Premier League and been shite in all of them. Nothing I've seen makes me think he'll be anything but lightweight as we look to replace a midfield that's more porous than a cut-up sponge.

And he can't score.

Where has his passion been for the last 9 months? Utter charlatan who knows the game is up. I'll drive him back to Crewe myself if they'd have him. His entire footballing range is square passes and shite corners.

That is the crux of the problem.  Why should we have to have others better to carry him.  He plays in a pivotal position in the team.  I could understand it if he was a mercurial No. 10 that drifts in and out of games but he is not.

Not a single winner or leader amongst them though. Once the bad attitudes are removed from the squad there is an Ok frame work to build a side around but the players brought in can't be more bits and pieces jack of all trades nice guys. We need role models, leaders, strong voices and some winners added in to the mix of a pretty quiet, broken bunch of losers and slackers that we currently have.

Ok I meant to say something along the lines of 'will been seen to be a scalp to other teams'

Sorry for the obvious mistake   ???

See you next season
