Going to be honest, Ive just found this in my loft havent got a clue how I ended up with it,but its going on ebay. but does anyone know anything about the game? Why it was played and what was the score?

Does that mean we were World Champions? I'm pretty sure that's how it worked in those days. Midlands team wins friendly against Commies = World Champions.

Are you sure that wasn't just Albion?  Sounds like the kind of thing they would come out with.
That comes from a headline after Wolves had beaten Honved in the mid-1950s and led to L'Equipe coming up with an outline for the European Cup a few days later.
