Phew, good effort lads. Bournemouth at fortresses VP. That was a toughy. Don't worry (I know you won't) , the tens of thousands of pounds you're paid per week will be nestling in your accounts. Keep pretend trying and you'll draw a game before the season is out.

What's the point. I know it was reported when Lambert did it, but all they did was put in a new seat for a steward to sit facing the fans.

Another interesting point was that Lyden came and sat with the fans in the second half rather than than on the bench. Really odd.

What happened to Lyden?  Unless he was injured it was a bit harsh really as I thought he was doing OK.

He did okay when he had the ball, I just couldn't work out where he was meant to be playing. Seemed to just run after ball wherever it was.

Can only think it was to move Gana back into midfield - he was a fish out of water playing in front of the mid 4/behind Ayew. The shape of the team in the first half was another weird one by Black, matched only by his idiotic team selection

Last week Eric Black was in the media telling us all that Villa need to win the fans back.
So why the fuck did he pick that starting XI?

Will there be a lap of "HONOUR" at the end of the season?

Bastards the lot of them. No pride and all the toss regarding the club badge. Might as well have the cowardly lion on the badge with the motto 'If only we had a brain, a heart some courage'. Was going to go to this as had saturday off but just knew the outcome and knew that there would be no fight.

Lap of shame with Gabby, Richards, Guzan and Lescott leading the pack

I think this is the year that we'll get relegated

Chin up, I've still got my fingers crossed that some kind of natural disaster will cause the league to be abandoned. #believe

well if it's proved that the three clubs named had players using performance enhancing substances then there's hope not just for us but Sunderland and Newcastle too

Yeah, Villa are American owned, so it's a lap of honor

....but as Mr Shin said, it's not called that anyway.

Anyhow, whatever it's called, I can't see there bring one this year.

academic though isn't it - the reality is, we were relegated months ago, probably after Tim's Leicester fuckup, only we didn't realise it.

that was when our balloon was definitely pricked

It's called a lap of appreciation.  Gabby is giving out free shisha to 100 lucky supporters.
