Why do people on here post without having the first idea of a press conference that happened 8 hours ago

Oh no have I missed a press conference again? That's about 150 this year now that I've missed.

My son will be there with 7 year old Bea for her second match and 4 year old Ted for his first match. I am very happy to say that both my grandchildren will be wearing Villa garb purchased by their grandfather.

Just to let you all know I'm not feeling very well this morning so I'll be phoning in soon to say I won't be there today. I will probably be feeling a bit better tomorrow.

I think it's probably just a virus or something.

Let's be honest, you haven't really turned up for about 5 years and when you do you asked for a pay rise. You've been a drain on this site for way too long and we all wish you'd sling your hook.

Get well soon.

Nice day for you Bernie.  I was hoping to road test my youngest grandson Dan in the Villa shirt in which I invested two days worth of the state retirement pension.  Unfortunately his dad is covering the Grand National so the lad's debut is delayed.

This will be a good first game for the nippers.  A win that will start a sequence of wins over the coming year. One for them to remember.

Really hope your Son and your grandchildren see a rare Villa win, Up the Villa.

Don't think I am. This pretending to be poorly is quite hard work. Oh shit, rumbled!

Funniest thing about pretending to be ill was my brother giving it the full 'I'm really ill, I don't think I can go to school routine'. My mom later asked him if he could manage to eat anything. The reply of "I think I could manage egg and chips" still makes me laugh out loud today.

Woke up this morning with a hint of a sore ego so rang the club and said I may not attend today. They were very nice about it and said "oh don't worry we already have your season ticket money so take the next two matches off as well if you want". I thought that was a nice touch.

That story villabear reminds we of a visit we paid to an old family relation on the way to the Norwich away game.  She had been on a coach trip to Yarmouth.  When we asked if she enjoyed it she replied in the negative.  I was feeling ill when we got there so I had egg and chips.  They made me sick.  We took our leave of her without having the courage to ask why she ate egg and chips if she was not feeling well.

It was that that sort of day, the Bacuna orchestrated surrender to Norwich effectively sealing our fate.  The day had a surreal quality.

Well today may be the day. Hoping for some positive team selections. Somehow I can't see it happening though.

I live in hope....

I normally go through a futile routine of wearing 'lucky' clothing, earrings, watch etc. Today my selection was based on total comfort.
